Handling the unexpected: optimized healthcare supply management

With the arrival of Covid-19, an unexpected and destabilizing event, Lombardy had to face unprecedented challenges, including the procurement and distribution of strategic health resources (gloves, gowns, etc.), which were key during the pandemic.

The region did not have a centralized WMS and a coherent database, which would allow to manage supplies and know the status of all the warehouses.
