Optimizing natural risk management

In 2020, the Municipality of Pescara defined new action plans and initiated monitoring procedures, including the installation of thermal imaging cameras in the area.

The implementation of this proactive strategy however didn’t prevent a series of natural disasters: fires and floods.

As official partner of the E-Citijens Project since 2019, the city of Pescara chose Beta 80 Group to integrate the «Social Media based» EDSS platform with a network of monitoring and security devices installed on the territory.
